Privacy Policy

The short version

OCpit is built to collect as little as possible. We don't ask for your email, we don't make you create a password, and we don't sell data. The only identifier we store is a username you choose.

What we store

  • Username: the handle you pick. It's saved in your browser's local storage and in our database so your OCs, trivia score and tier lists persist.
  • Content you create: OCs, published gallery entries, trivia attempts and tier lists, tied to your username.
  • Basic server logs: our web server records standard request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser type) for security and debugging. These rotate and are not used to profile you.

What we don't collect

  • No email addresses or passwords.
  • No real names, ages, or contact details.
  • No advertising trackers or third-party analytics pixels embedded across the site.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your chosen username so you don't have to re-enter it. This stays on your device. When you click an affiliate link to Amazon, Amazon may set its own cookies to attribute the referral — that's governed by Amazon's privacy notice, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure.

Children

OCpit is a general-audience fan site. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and because we don't collect emails or real identities, there's very little personal data involved at all. If you believe a published gallery entry is inappropriate, it can be removed — contact us via the details below.

Removing your data

You can switch or abandon a username at any time using the "switch" control in the header. If you'd like a username and its associated content deleted from our database, get in touch and we'll remove it.
